Well-known Helena artist Louis Archambault was the second artist in the Montana Art Display Series. Louis displayed his renowned work depicting the Lewis and Clark Expeditions, which he began painting in 1995, when he embarked on creating one painting a year, with the plan to create a total of ten in the series by the bicentennial celebrated in 2005.
